What is life without a little bit of humanity in it?

We have all desired a helping hand one time or the other. It could be that we have needed the helping hand of a friend in deed, a shoulder to cry on, an open basket we can draw from or even a flowing stream we wished we could drink from.

When I look at humanity, I have the image of an open tap, maybe because I am an engineer. I am daily motivated that if I keep my tap open, from it shall flow water to quench not just my own thirst but for others around me. I pray for strength and grace to live my life in this way, that many may benefit from my existence.

I desire that more girls will have access to a decent life, education and better the lives of the communities they live in as the old saying, ‘Educate a girl and you liberate an entire village’
